SLEEPY EYE–Joey R. Nelson, age 57 of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, died on January 4, 2026. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 3:30 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 3:45 p.m. prior to the visitation. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – North Entrance. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye and will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/stmarysleepyeye. The clergy will be Fr. Craig Timmerman. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.
