ONALSKA WI–Douglas James Miklas, age 83, of Onalaska, WI passed away peacefully at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley, MN on December 21. A Family & Friend Service and Celebration Of Life for Douglas will be held at a later date in New Ulm.

Douglas was born in New Ulm on July 20th 1942 to Romen and Clara (Hengy) Miklas. He graduated from New Ulm High School in 1961 and worked at Kraft Foods for 38 years before retiring at the age of 56. He moved to Onalaska, WI in 2004 were he resided for 21 years. His passions were Bowling, Golfing, Fishing, and Softball.

He is preceded in death by his parents Romen & Clara and siblings Elaine (Wilson), Shirley (Tom Groebner), Warren, Jean (Ron Lackmiller), Thomas, Joyce (Kelly), Roger. Survived by Marlys (Orton Ulrich) and Karen (Neil Gulden).

Children: Troy, Tracy, Lana, Chad, Tami, Jeff, Jamie and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
