NEW ULM–David Wilbert Hermel, 71, of New Ulm, passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on October 8, 2024, in Meeker County. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday Oct 17, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Courtland, MN (50512 478th St, Courtland, MN 56021). A celebration of life will take place at Crow Bar in Courtland from 1:00 to 3 p.m. (308 Main St, Courtland, MN 56021), also Thursday Oct 17, where everyone is welcome to join in remembering David’s life and legacy. The family invites friends and loved ones to bring a picture or written stories to share as we celebrate David’s life and legacy.
