Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Delores is survived by her sons, Thomas “Shorty” (Beth) Wolf of New Ulm, Steven (Jill) Wolf of Stewartville, and Ronald (Susan) Wolf of Plymouth; grandchildren, Kendall, Natalie, Taylor, Jonathan, and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Maeve and Fritz; brother, Leo (Mary) Hacker of Crystal; sister-in-law, Karen Hacker of Morgan; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Whitey; brother and sister-in-law, George and Helen Hacker; and brother, David Hacker.

Delores Rose Hacker was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Templeton, Iowa, to George and Esther (Jentzen) Hacker. She moved with her family to Morgan at the age of 3. She attended and graduated from Morgan Public School. Delores was united in marriage to Wallace (Whitey) Wolf on June 19, 1954, at the Church of St. Michael in Morgan. This union blessed the couple with three sons. Delores and Whitey made their home in New Ulm, where they raised their family. Delores was the CEO of the household and a bonus grandmother to the neighborhood kids. Her kind and caring personality made it easy for her to be well-liked. Throughout her career, she worked at Ochs department store, New Ulm Laundry and Bill Huevelmann Accounting. She was an election judge in Brown County for many years. Delores was a woman of strong faith and was a member of St. Mary’s Church in New Ulm and Catholic Aid. In 1957 she was a co-founder of the St. Jude’s Guild and was a member with them for over 60 years. Delores will be greatly missed. Blessed be her memory.
