Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – NORTH Chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.

Diane is survived by her sons, Joey Vonderharr and Ronald (Janell) Vonderharr Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany; brother, Leon (Shirley) Geiger; sisters, Sharon (Jack) Brush, Linda (Gary) Watson, Betty (Mike) Meinhardt; sister-in-law, Lori Geiger and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Sr. and her brothers, Lester and Lee Geiger.

Diane Dorothy-Martha Geiger was born Dec. 3, 1950 to Louis and Delores (Brey) Geiger in Sleepy Eye. She graduated from New Ulm High School. After school she worked as a nurse’s aide and a telephone operator. Diane also worked as a cook for the Kaiserhoff and Wagon Wheel. On June 30, 1975 she was united in marriage to Ronald Vonderharr Sr. in Essig. Diane was an active member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and sang in the church choir. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
