Klaus is survived by his wife, Angela Jahr of Morgan; son, Daniel Jahr of Delmenhorst, Germany; granddaughter, Katharina Jahr of Delmenhorst, Germany; and his two beloved collies, Elvis and Patsy.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Klaus Jahr was born April 25, 1947 to Fritz and Elfriede (Stengel) Jahr in Brandes, Germany. He graduated high school and attended multiple trade schools. Klaus was a handyman, working as a car mechanic, plastic molding technician, nurse, and certified nursing assistant. He loved working with people. In 1999, Klaus was united in marriage to Angela Koch in Germany. The couple moved to the United States and worked at various nursing homes in the area. When Klaus was not working, he enjoyed helping to setup music and sound equipment for Angela’s concerts, working outside, spending time at his desk, and playing with his dogs. He was a member of Grace Community Church and the German Bohemian Club. Klaus will be dearly missed by those that knew him. Blessed be his memory.
