Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021, in St. Willibrord’s Catholic Church in Gibbon. Burial will follow in St. Willibrord’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church in Gibbon.

Social distancing guidelines must be practiced at all time, and masks are required to be worn at the visitation and funeral Mass.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of Gibbon are assisting the family with arrangements at this time.

Stan is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mildred “Millie” Forst of Gibbon; his daughters, Jean Zinda of Holloway, Renee Forst of Plymouth, AmyGieseke of St. James, KaraLandgraf of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; his sons, Jon Forst, Dale Forst, Lyle Forst all of Gibbon; his 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Aurelia Kral of New Ulm; brother, Robert Forst of New Ulm.

Stanley Joseph Forst was born March 20, 1931, in West Newton Township, Nicollet County, to Herbert and Agnes (Beranek) Forst.
