Visitation will be on Sunday, April 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Prayer Service at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye and will continue on Monday from 10 tol 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 12, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye. COVID-19 precautions will be followed, including mandatory masks and social distancing.

Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.

Scott Alcuin Tauer was born Nov. 21, 1957 in Sleepy Eye to Alcuin Wenzel Tauer and Arlene Marie (Pelzel) Tauer.

He is survived by his children, Dominic Tauer, Misty “Nevada” Rosales, Damian Tauer, Samantha McLaughlin; three grandchildren; his parents, Alcuin and Arlene Tauer; brothers and sisters, Gary , Suzanne, Dan and Sandy.
