A public visitation will be on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 9 to 11 am at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. A private family service will be held.

Patrick Joseph Mathiowetz was born in Springfield on March 19, 1952, to Fredolin and Marcella (Schroepfer) Mathiowetz.

He served in the US Army from 1972 to 1974.

He is survived by his wife Mary; son, Kurtis Mathiowetz; daughter, Kristen Mathiowetz; four grandchildren; a sister, Rita Drusch; and a brother Ronald Mathiowetz.
