Chad Alan Bode, age 45, was called home to the Lord on April 27, 2020. Chad died due to complications related to adrenal cancer. Chad’s life was a life full of valor and love for God, country, family and community. Chad was born on March 17, 1975 in New Ulm, Minnesota to his parents, Gary and Karen (Forster) Bode. He attended grade school at Immanuel Lutheran School in rural Courtland, MN and graduated from Nicollet Public School in 1993. Chad Served 19 years in the U.S. Military in addition to 19 years with the Department of Homeland Security. Chad is survived by his wife, Skye, and their three beautiful children, Andrew Boeser, Evan Bode and Lily Bode of Lakeville, MN; his parents, Gary and Karen Bode of Courtland, MN; siblings Becky (Dave) Wagner of Nicollet; Cindy (Brian) Petersen of Mankato; Jeffrey (Angela) Bode of Nicollet; and Christopher Bode of Courtland. Chad is also survived by eight nieces, eight great-nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an aunt, uncles and cousins.
