Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.

Service will be held at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at St. John Lutheran Home on Tuesday, May 7, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Springfield City Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.

Dwayne was born at the Essig farmhouse just south of the family farm, Sanborn, on December 26, 1924 to Bruce and Martha (Essig) Middleton.

He is survived by his sons, Glen Middleton, Plano, Texas, and Arlan Middleton, St. Michael; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
