Lee was born on Feb. 17, 1948 in Clinton, to Earl and Betty (Sorensen) Folkens.

Lee served joined the United States Marines, serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Folkens of Blooming Prairie; sons, Grant Kruckeberg of Rosemount, Chad Kruckeberg of Belize, Jed Folkens of Jordan; and five grandchildren.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, at the Blooming Prairie Serviceman’s Club in Blooming Prairie. A brief memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. with Pastor Heidi Heimgartner officiating, followed by military rites by the American Legion Post 52.

Memorials in Lee’s memory can be directed to the Blooming Prairie Ambulance.
