Dale Mack

NEW ULM — Dale Mack, 68, of New Ulm died Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sepember 14, 2018 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Jeffrey Bovee officiating. Full military honors will be conducted at the church by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard. Visitation will be 9 – 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Dale is survived by his wife, Ruth Mack of New Ulm; sons, Peter (Hailey) Mack of Bemidji, Jonathan (Vanessa) Mack of Courtland, Timothy (Amanda) Mack of Bemidji, Michael Mack of New Ulm; grandchildren, BreAnna, Samantha, Olivia, and Brandon Mack; sisters, Karen Ahlbrecht of New Ulm, Wendy (Harold) Parsons of Inver Grove Heights, Sharla Sander of Franklin; brother-in-law, Ron Lewis of Titusville, Fla., nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marlene Lewis; brother, Russell Mack in infancy; brother-in-law, Rodney Sander.

Dale Orlin Mack was born on August 26, 1950 in New Ulm to Orlin and Marjorie (Dale) Mack. He served in the U.S. Army and did two tours in Vietnam. On February 28, 1976 he was united in marriage to Ruth Sill in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, fixing small engines, farming and spending time with his family. Dale was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
