New Ulm Police • Stopped a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old New Ulm man for expired registration at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway and 16th St. N. He was cited for failure to transfer title, attempt to escape tax and driving without a valid driver’s license. Reports went to Brown and Sibley County Probation. • Stopped a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old Minnesota Lake man for an equipment violation at Broadway and 13th St. N. at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday. The driver was cited for driving after revocation and open cannabis package in motor vehicle. A report was done for documentation.

New Ulm Police • Stopped a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old New Ulm man at at Minnesota St. and 15th St. S. at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday. The man was transported to the Brown County Jail. A report for consideration of driving after cancellation-IPS (inimical to public safety) and no proof of insurance was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office. • Stopped a vehicle driven by a 53-year-old New Ulm man at 2015 S. Minnesota State Patrol • Responded to a one-vehicle crash on westbound TH 60 to southbound TH 15, Fieldon Township, Watonwan County at 9:09 a.m. Friday. A 2025 Freightliner semi driven by David Andrew Carver, 55, Farmington, was on the ramp from westbound TH 60 to to TH 15 when it tipped over in the west ditch of the ramp. Carver wore a seat belt. He was transported to a Madelia hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Madelia Fire/Ambulance and Police and the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office assisted. Alcohol was not involved. New Ulm Police • Received a call from a 35-year-old New Ulm woman at 5:15 p.m. Thursday about an intoxicated 39-year-old New Ulm man. Police went to a Minnesota Street South residence and transported the man to detox. A report was done for documentation. • Stopped a vehicle on North Broadway at 7:25 p.m. Thursday and arrested a 27-year-old male for DWI and transported him to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
