Redwood County Sheriff’s Office • Responded to a two-vehicle crash with reported injuries at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of County Highways 13 and 16, Redwood County. A 2013 GMC Yukon driven south on Highway 13 by Emily Schubert, 37, Redwood Falls ran a stop sign and struck a 2013 Kia Sorento driven by Ed Nelsen, 82, Clements, near the front passenger side, causing severe disabling damage to both vehicles. New Ulm Police • Responded to a physical domestic report at 6:05 p.m. Friday. Police learned a 28-year-old Madelia man was assaulted by a 20-year-old New Ulm female. She was arrested, transported to detox and cited for misdemeanor domestic assault, fourth-degree damage to property and underage alcohol consumption. The man did not seek medical attention. • Took a report at 3:42 p.m. Sunday of a possible no contact order violation. He was arrested for DWI, transported to the Brown County Jail and cited for fourth-degree DWI. New Ulm Police • Took a report at 7:45 a.m. Thursday from 31-year-old New Ulm women who said her husband, a 36-year-old New Ulm man is harassing her via text messages. The two are currently separated. The husband is not allowing her to see the children they have together. The women was advised how to obtain a harassment restraining order and setting up a custody hearing. Report for documentation.
