New Ulm Police • Took a report at 7:45 a.m. Thursday from 31-year-old New Ulm women who said her husband, a 36-year-old New Ulm man is harassing her via text messages. The two are currently separated. The husband is not allowing her to see the children they have together. The women was advised how to obtain a harassment restraining order and setting up a custody hearing. Report for documentation.

New Ulm Police • Took a domestic report at 4:53 p.m. Tuesday where a 53-year-old New Ulm man locked a 46-year-old New Ulm woman in a storage unit. Officers used a bolt cutter on a lock and talked to the woman who said she was kicked, fell to the ground, hit her head and was locked inside the unit. Officers found the male suspect nearby, arrested him and transported him to the Brown County Jail. The woman did not seek medical attention. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for consideration of domestic assault and harassment restraining order violation charges.

Officers located a 38-year-old Council Bluffs, Ia. Woman in the church. She had a Le Sueur County warrant for a probation violation. She was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A 43-year-old Mankato man was also located. New Ulm Police • Took a report at 4:32 p.m Friday from a 63-year-old New Ulm man who said he was assaulted by a 76-year-old New Ulm woman who brought packages to his apartment and allegedly hit him in the face, breaking his glasses. The woman denied a physical assault occurred. No injuries were detected. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for review. • Stopped a vehicle for expired registration at 12:55 a.m. Saturday.
