New Ulm Police • Responded to a report of a 59-year-old New Ulm woman causing a disturbance at Subway on South Broadway at 11:51 a.m. Friday. The woman was frustrated that her gift cards did not work and got upset with employees. She caused an earlier disturbance at Subway in Springfield, police said. The store issued a trespass letter to the woman from area Subways. A report was done for documentation. • Stopped a vehicle for a hands-free cell phone violation at 7:15 p.m. Thursday. Sleepy Eye Police • Responded to a theft report at Anytime Fitness on Main Street East at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday. Surveillance video showed one male and one female juvenile allegedly stealing items. Redwood County Sheriff’s Office • Responded to a two-vehicle crash with reported injuries at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of County Highways 13 and 16, Redwood County. A 2013 GMC Yukon driven south on Highway 13 by Emily Schubert, 37, Redwood Falls ran a stop sign and struck a 2013 Kia Sorento driven by Ed Nelsen, 82, Clements, near the front passenger side, causing severe disabling damage to both vehicles.
