New Ulm Police • Were notified at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday that a Brown County Evaluation Center patient had an apprehension and detention order for their arrest out of Brown County. Officers transported a 67-year-old Springfield man to the Brown County Jail. New Ulm Police • Spoke with a 37-year-old Fort Dodge, IA woman at a S. Broadway smoke shop Sunday afternoon who said she met a 43-year-old Fairfax man on a dating app Saturday. She told police her overnight bag was in the man’s SUV, he dropped her off at the smoke shop Sunday and never returned. Fairfax Police located the woman’s belongings at the man’s residence and turned them over to New Ulm Police who returned the bag to the woman. A 16-year-old male employee was identified on surveillance video April 20-22 for the theft of $1,060 in Minnesota Lottery games and $83.26 worth of store merchandise.
