New Ulm Police • Reported a two-vehicle crash at 11:05 a.m. Thursday without injuries at Minnesota St. and 16th Street South. A 2016 Ford Edge driven by Stephanie Joy Eckstein, 50, Sleepy Eye, was southbound on Minnesota Street when it collided with a westbound 2018 Ford Edge driven by David Ray Honeman, 66, New Ulm. Police said Honeman failed to stop at a stop sign. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. New Ulm Police • Located an intoxicated man in the New Ulm Medical Center parking lot at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday. • Responded to a report of an intoxicated man sitting in a vehicle in the McDonald’s parking lot on South Broadway at 3:58 p.m. Tuesday. A 52-year-old Cokato man was found outside the vehicle. Police contacted the man’s Wright County probation officer who asked that the man be arrested for a probation violation. Reports went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office and Brown County Probation for consideration of 4th-degree DWI, open cannabis package in a motor vehicle and proof of insurance. • Kwik Trip north store management reported a 49-year-old New Ulm man in the store they recognized from past thefts at 2:45 p.m. Friday.
