New Ulm Police • Responded to a domestic and break-in call at 110 S. German St. at 12:54 p.m. Saturday. A 40-year-old New Ulm man said his ex-girlfriend, a 35-year-old New Ulm woman broke into his apartment and assault his current girlfriend, a 27-year-old Winthrop woman. The female suspect was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. New Ulm Police • Transported a 17-year-old New Ulm boy to the New Ulm Medical Center Emergency Room for a mental health evaluation at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday. No injuries or damage were reported. A report went to his probation agent. • Received a welfare check request at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday for a 26-year-old New Ulm woman with mental health issues. The woman was not located. An attempt-to-locate file was created including contacting relatives. A report was done for documentation.

New Ulm Police • Stopped a vehicle for driving conduct at 9:50 p.m. Friday at County Road 13 and 225th St., Cottonwood Township. Police talked to a 40-year-old New Ulm woman who showed impairment signs. Due to a conflict of interest, the Minnesota State Patrol was contacted to take over the investigation. The woman was arrested for DWI by the State Patrol. • Stopped a vehicle for a moving violation at 11 p.m. Friday on Monument Street. Minnesota State Patrol • Reported a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 3:37 p.m. Thursday on State Highway 19 at 8th Street in Gaylord. A 2016 GMC Terrain driven northbound toward 8th Street by Shian Marie Welcome Kaveney, 30, Gaylord, collided with a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox driven westbound on Highway 19 by Kristine Marie Leshovsky, 53, Hanska. The Terrain flipped and came to a rest on its roof. Kaveney wore a seat belt but was transported to a Glencoe hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
