New Ulm Police • Attempted to locate a suicidal, 45-year-old New Ulm man at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday. He returned home, unharmed three hours later. A report was done for documentation. Minnesota State Patrol • Received a two-vehicle crash report at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 14 at milepost 128, North Mankato, Nicollet County. A 2013 Ford F250 driven by Michael James Maxwell, 47, Cottonwood and a 2004 Toyota Corolla driven by Triston John Whitney, 24, Lafayette, were westbound on Highway 14 when they collided. Redwood County Sheriff’s Office • Responded to a two-vehicle crash with suspected injuries at 4:28 p.m. Monday at Bedal St. and 3rd St., Walnut Grove. A Toyota truck driven by Peter Vang, Walnut Grove, failed to yield the right of way and crashed into a Polaris ATV driven by Gary Pilaczynski, Walnut Grove. The ATV tipped on the driver’s side Pilaczynski was transported to a hospital for a suspected injury. New Ulm Police • Stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation Monday. The driver, a 40-year-old New Ulm man, did not have a valid driver’s license. He was cited for driving after revocation, prohibited lights, failure to transfer title, failure to have a fender. He was transported to the Brown County Jail for past driving after revocation citations. • A parent called police Monday about their 15-year-old son threatening to run away if he had to go home with her after school.
