New Ulm Police • Reported a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Highland Avenue and 5th Street North at 7:33 a.m. Friday. A 2014 Chevrolet Equinox driven southbound on Kimberly Ann Doust, 65, Winthrop, failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a westbound 2021 Audi S4 driven by Eli Jon Samuelson, 26, Sleepy Eye. New Ulm Police • A 27-year-old man told police Wednesday afternoon that his neighbor, a 41-year-old New Ulm man, posted a video stating “he was going to kill him.” Reports were sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for consideration of threats of violence charges and to probation. • Assisted Brown County Probation in the arrest of a 28-year-old New Ulm man for a probation violation Wednesday. New Ulm Police • Responded to the Colonial Inn, 1227 N. Broadway at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday for a 35-year-old New Ulm woman suffering from a mental health crisis. The woman told police things were not going well with a man she was sharing a hotel room with. Police contacted a Mankato crisis center about coming to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center to transported the woman to safe housing in Mankato. New Ulm Police • Responded to an assault report on the 1300 block of Payne Street North at 6:58 p.m. Friday. A 43-year-old New Ulm woman told police she and her 48-year-old New Ulm boyfriend got into a fight, she was slapped in the face with an open hand and he put his hands around her neck, went outside and slashed all four of her tires.
