New Ulm Police • Received a forged check report in the amount of $4,766.98 at West Point Dairy Products, 315 N. Broadway at 3:54 p.m. Thursday. Police continue to investigate the incident. • Received a theft report at 6:21 p.m. Thursday on the 1300 block Jefferson Street North involving motor vehicle tampering. The 15-year-old juvenile male was caught by the vehicle owner inside a vehicle without permission. A cell phone valued at $50 was reported taken but was later recovered. New Ulm Police • Arrested a 24-year-old New Ulm man for alleged misdemeanor driving after revocation and multiple prior violations at 11:37 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway and 13th Street South. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office. • Transported a 27-year-old New Ulm woman to the New Ulm Medical Center Emergency Dept. from 300 block of N. Broadway for mental health concerns at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday. Reports went to Brown County Probation and the Brown County Attorney’s office for review.

New Ulm Police • Received a call at 4:13 p.m. Friday from a resident about fireworks and explosives in the 1100 block of South Jefferson Street. Police interviewed juveniles and leads on suspicious vehicles in the area were followed up on. An investigation continues. • Received a report at 5:30 p.m. Friday of a 27-year-old New Ulm woman who posted suicidal thoughts on a Snapchat story. New Ulm Police • Received a theft report from a 32-year-old New Ulm man at 10:56 p.m. Thursday on the 2200 block of N. Broadway. Stolen electronics and clothing stolen sometime in the last few days were reported to be valued at $1,200. Broken lock damage was estimated at $300. A report went to investigators.

New Ulm Police • Responded to a report of a drug deal at 311 Minnesota Street North at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday. A 45-year-old New Ulm man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail for alleged felony third-degree and fifth-degree drug possession within the vicinity of public housing. About 1.67 grams of methamphetamine was seized by police. A report for consideration of alleged drug charges on a 54-year-old New Ulm woman went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office. • Attempted to stop a vehicle for a stop sign violation at Center and Garden Street at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday. ...
