Minnesota State Patrol • Reported a one-vehicle crash at 7:52 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 71 near 240th Street, Germantown Township, Cottonwood County. A 2015 Polarish Ranger ATV driven by a 15-year-old Sanborn male was northbound in the ditch when he lost control and rolled. He did not wear a helmet and was transported to a Windom hospital with life-threatening injuries. New Ulm Police • An 82-year-old New Ulm woman told police at 3 p.m. Friday that a caller claimed to be her internet provider and found child pornography assisted with her internet address. The caller said the woman would get a call from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The woman said she gave out her Social Security, credit card, bank account and bank routing numbers to an individual she thought was an FTC agent. Vesta man killed in motorcycle accident

REDWOOD COUNTY – A 48-year-old man from was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 46 and County State Aid Highway 8. Redwood County Sheriffs were dispatched to the intersection at 4:24 p.m. Saturday following a report of an accident involving a single motorcycle. The rider was later identified as Craig Michael Baune of Vesta, MN. Redwood County Sheriff’s believed Baune lost control on the curve, went into a ditch where he struck a road sign.
