New Ulm Police Department
• At 7:56 p.m. Friday officers stopped a vehicle on the block of 15th South Street and Broadway for equipment violation. The driver, a 23-year-old Windom woman, did not have a valid driver's license. Inside the vehicle was an open package of cannabis. Report to attorney for no proof of insurance, expired registration, and open cannabis inside motor vehicle.
• Officers received a call at 8:19 p.m. Friday from the block of 600 North Street. A 48-year-old New Ulm woman received a letter from a 51-year-old Tucson, Arizona man, violating an order of protection the woman has against him.
