Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries on Highway 14, Home Township, Brown County at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday. Carter James Haala, 20, New Ulm, was driving a 2024 Nissan Versa eastbound on Highway 14 when he collided with a 2007 Ford F150 driven southbound on 225th Ave. by Patrick Aloys Hoffmann, 79, Sleepy Eye. Both drivers wore seat belts and were transported to New Ulm Medical Center. Airbags deployed. Alcohol was not involved. Sleepy Eye Police, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Allina EMS and New Ulm Medical Center assisted.
Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to an accident at 3:34 p.m. Tuesday on CR 17 near Circle Lake, just south of Arlington. Dominic Kasheimer, 44, Arlington, was riding a Suzuki Kingquad ATV when he lost control and crashed. He was transported to a local hospital for injury treatment. Assisting agencies were Arlington Police and Ambulance, the Minnesota State Patrol and Mayo Clinic Air Care.
• Responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on 441st Ave., (CR 13), south of 246th St., near Beatty Lake, Dryden Township at 11:06 a.m. Wednesday. Caleb Gold, 20, Savage, was driving a 2013 Toyota Camry northbound on 441st Ave., left the road and came to a rest upside down in the ditch. Vehicle damage was heavy. Both front and side airbags deployed. Gold was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The Arlington Fire Department and Arlington Ambulance assisted.
New Ulm Police
• Received a report at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday of a mattress illegally dumped into a dumpster on Somsen Street. A report went to police investigators.
• Received a report at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday of a prescription bill bottle stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block, Washington St. S. A report was done for documentation.
