New Ulm Police

• Responded to a theft report at Walmart, 1720 Westridge Road at 3:27 p.m. Feb. 20. A 51-year-old Sleepy Eye woman admitted to stealing $245 worth of merchandise including baseball cards, beauty products and nicotine gum. The woman was cited for theft and issued a trespass notice by Walmart. A report was sent to Brown County Probation.

• Took an animal complaint report at State St. and 8th St. N. at 7:54 a.m. Feb. 21. A 50-year-old New Ulm woman said she was walking her dog when it was attacked by two dogs. Her dog was biten in the leg. The woman contacted the other dogs’ owner, a 33-year-old New Ulm man. A report went to the police animal control officer.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 19 at Impala Ave., Sheridan Township, Redwood County at 9:38 a.m. Feb. 20. Kylee Joe Jennings, 17, Wabasso, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix eastbound on Highway 19, lost control and rolled into the ditch. Jennings and a passenger, Juelz Blaz Thompson, 17, Morton, were transported to Centra Care Redwood Falls with non-life threatening injuries. Both individuals wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Redwood Falls Fire Dept. and Centracare Ambulance assisted.
