New Ulm Police

• Received a theft report at 4:40 p.m. March 7 at Wal-Mart Super Store, 1720 Westridge Road. Store security stopped a 44-year-old Fairfax woman in the store parking lot. She had $111.52 in merchandise, mostly food and make-up, in a cart that she did not pay for. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report at Broadway and 1st North streets at 11:12 a.m. March 8. Steven Holm, 71, New Ulm, was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 southbound when he collided with Kadence Lund, 17, New Ulm, who was driving a 2004 Chevy Impala northbound. Damage was severe to the driver’s site of the Chevy and moderate to the front end of the Dodge. Lund reported back pain and was transported by Allina Ambulance. Both drivers wore seat belts.
