New Ulm Police
• A theft was reported at 5:45 p.m. Friday at WalMart. A 30-year-old New Ulm woman went through the self checkout paying for some items, but failing to pay for $148 worth of items. The individual was served a trespassing notice and the case with be referred to attorney’s office.
• A theft was reported from a residence at 1500 N. State Street. A 33-year-old New Ulm man noticed items were taken from his recently deceased father’s home. Between Tuesday, Nov. 30 and Wednesday, Dec. 1 a white and orange Holbart Mig Welder valued at $800 and a black with wood stock Winchester Mag Lever-Action rifle with a octagon barrel valued at $700 were taken.
