New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at 12:21 p.m. Nov. 22. Virginia S. Evans, 85, Madelia, was driving a 2015 GMC southbound in the 300 block of S. Broadway when she was hit by a southbound 2016 International semi driven by Herbert E. Colby, 54, Forest Lake, who drifted from the right lane to the left lane. Damage was moderate to the GMC, no damage to the semi. Both drivers wore seat belts.

• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old Sleepy Eye man at 13th St. N. and State St. at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday for expired tabs. The man also had expired vehicle registration and no insurance. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

Brown County

Sheriff’s Office

• Received a theft report at 12:33 p.m. Nov. 23 on 315th Avenue, Prairieville Township. Two boxes with items valued at $443.55 were reported stolen Nov. 15, 2021. An investigation continues. A report was done for documentation.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received an harassment report at 8:33 a.m. Tuesday from a Sleepy Eye man who said a New Ulm man was sending harassing messages about him on Facebook. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
