Sheriff’s Office

• Received a car-deer crash report at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday at 150th Street and CR 8, Mulligan Township. Brian Lutchens, 49, Hector, was driving a 2014 Nissan Altima that had minor damage. He was not injured.

New Ulm Police

• Received a welfare check call from a neighbor regarding a domestic situation including a 33-yar-old New Ulm man and 31-year-old New Ulm woman on 1st South Street. at 8:42 a.m. Monday. Nobody was hurt. Reports will be sent to Brown County Human Services and CADA (Committee Against Domestic Abuse).

• Received a stolen vehicle report from a 41-year-old New Ulm woman at 1508 State St. N. at 3:47 p.m. Monday. the woman said an acquaintance, a 53-year-old Mankato man, stole her vehicle. The suspect’s friend, a 49-year-old Mankato man, later returned the vehicle to the woman’s residence. Police said the man driving the vehicle had a driver’s license that was cancelled as inimical to public safety. Reports will be sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

•New Ulm police took a theft report Wednesday from a storage locker on 1700 block of South State Street. The storage room was broken into within the last two weeks with several items taken. The list of items taken include; two Samsonite suitcases valued at $200; an antique doorbell valued at $125; an old door valued at $30; a Smokey Joe Grill valued at $50; a Webber Grill valued at $250; a blue porch swing with canopy valued at $200; two antique wood filing cabinets valued at $140; four antique stainless windows valued at $200; a glass antique wine jar valued at $100; a Janome sewing machine valued at $500; a Kitchen Aid Mix valued at $500; DeWalt drill valued at $20; two totes of winter clothes valued at $500; 15 plastic totes valued at $100; a Tiffany lamp and shade valued at $200; two rugs, camping items, five totes of family photos with frames and knitting materials. The combined estimate for all items stolen was $3,115.
