Brown County Sheriff
• Received a welfare check request at 107 Summit Ave., Hanska at 4:13 p.m. June 22. A 45-year-old Hanska man with mental health issues was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for evaluation. A report was done for documentation.
New Ulm Police
• Received a criminal damage to property report at 4th St. N. and Washington at 7:48 a.m. June 23. A rock was thrown through an excavator sometime overnight by juvenile suspects. Damage was estimated at $600. A report will be sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Received information at 2 p.m. June 23 about a residence on the 1000 block of Franklin St. N. A child welfare report was forwarded to Brown County Human Services.
Redwood County Sheriff
• Was advised at 8:28 p.m., June 22 by a Renville County Sheriff’s Deputy of a stolen vehicle last seen near U.S. Highway 71 and CSAH 2. Deputies searched the area and found the vehicle at the Oyate C Store near Jackpot Junction Casino. The vehicle driver fled, leading law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit. The vehicle was stopped at a rural Wanda residence. The driver was identified as Tanner W. Jarvis of Benson. He was arrested and transported to the Redwood County Jail. Redwood Falls Police assisted.
