New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at U.S. Highway 14 and North Highland Ave. at 1:28 p.m. Dec. 31. A 2003 Jeep Liberty driven by Margaret R. Davis, 72, St. James, was northbound on North Highland, waiting to cross Highway 14 when she pulled into the intersection and collided with a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Tova Bohrer, 36, St. Paul, who was westbound on Highway 14. Damage was severe to both vehicles. Both drivers wore seat belts.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries on snow and ice on U.S. Highway 71 and CR 15, Beaver Falls Township, Renville County at 2:55 p.m. Dec. 29. A 2008 Chevy Impala driven by Dustin J. B. Goblirsch, 27, Brookings, S.D. collided with a 2012 Chevy Impala driven by Connor J. Johanneck ,21, Morgan. Goblirsch was transported to Carris Health with non-life threatening injuries. He did not wear a seat belt. Johanneck was not injured. Alcohol was not involved. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Carris Health Ambulance and Morton Fire and Medical assisted.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries on U.S. Highway 212, Glencoe Township, McLeod County at 8:27 a.m. Dec. 30. A 2014 Lexus ES driven by Brandon T. Rignell, 37, New Ulm, was eastbound on Highway 212 when it collided with a westbound 2005 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Suzanne N. Magnuson, 42, Brownton, who lost control, crossed the median and into eastbound lanes. Rignell was transported to Glencoe Regional Health with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Allina Ambulance and Glencoe Police and Fire assisted.
