New Ulm Diabetes Walk was a big success
Over 70 people participated in the New Ulm Lion's Club Diabetes Walk in Flandrau Park last October. This fundraiser is for Minnesota Lionas Diabetes Foundation that works with the University of Minnesota to find a cure.
The New Ulm Lions wishes to thank everyone who contributed this years annual New Ulm Diabetes Walk, which took place at Flandrau State Park on Saturday, October 4.
The Diabetes Walk is a collaboration of the Lions Club of New Ulm, and the Lafayette Area Lions Club. It is a fundraiser for the Minnesota Lions Diabetes Foundation, who are working with the University of Minnesota to find a CURE for Diabetes. This event has generated over $160,600 in 11 years. This includes donations of over $14,900 this year. Over 70 people came out to walk for a cure.
