New Ulm Area Foundation announces $38,000 in fall grants
NEW ULM — New Ulm Area Foundation (NUAF), Inc. announce $38,000 in grant awards for the fall. The grants were distributed to ten organizations.
Heart and Home Furnishings received $5,000 through a grant made possible through donations from Roger and Carol Ryberg.
Brown County Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program will receive $5,000 from Dr. James and Jane Seifert fund.
New Ulm Community Concert Association received $3,700 from the Bill Macklin fund.
The City of Hanska Park and Rec. Program will receive $1,800 from the Nuvera fund.
NUAF awarded five grants through its general endowment fund.
The following grants were from the NUAF general endowment granting fund. New Ulm Middle School / ISD 88 for “Make It Move” robotics program received $10,000. State Street Theater for received $7,500 for curtain repair and maintenance. New Ulm Chamber of Commerce Foundation received $2,000 for a grant writing workshop. ProMusica received $2,000 for the 025-26 chamber music concert series. Ivy House received $1,000 to expand music therapy programming.
NUAF scholarship fund awarded $3,524 to Network New Ulm’s youth program.
