•Father’s Day Open Swim, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 15 at Aquatic Center. Dad’s swim free.
•Summer registration is open on summer programs. To register go online to newulmmn.gov, click on the park and rec button, click on Activities. Registration for all programs must be done online or in person at the Rec Center
•3on3 Basketball League with NUBBA is being offered to boys and girls in 6, 7, and 8 grade. League will be held Sunday nights at the Rec Center July 20 – August 10. Register online by June 29.
•Pickleball Palooza Mondays at the Rec Center, June 16 and 23. Adults 10-11:30 a.m. and Youth 11:30-1 p.m. Register ahead of time or pay the day of. The cost is $5 per person.
•Rec on the Go Regular schedule starts June 16. Rec on the Go is made possible through partnership with the New Ulm Area Community Ed. Rec on the Go runs from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Monday – Thursday. Monday is at Lincoln Park, Tuesday is at Highland Park, Wednesday is at Riverside Park and Thursdays is at North Park. Rec on the Go will also be at Lincoln Park 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday with special activities around the Wading Pool. Rec on the Go is free and open to any age.
•Puppet Wagon is running weekly: Tuesdays Harman Park at 9:30 a.m., Highland Park 10:15 a.m., Lincoln Park 11 a.m., Thursdays Washington Park 9:30 a.m., North Park 10:15 a.m., Hermann Heights Park 11 a.m., and at Concert in the Park at German Park at 6:15 p.m.
•Neighborhood Walkabout with the City of New Ulm Tree Commission. Join the City of New Ulm Tree Commission for a Neighborhood Walkabout to explore and identify tree care. Topics include planting, pruning, watering, and identifying possible damage. Guided walk is approximately 8 blocks and will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2 p.m. at the NE corner sidewalk of Nehls Park. This program is sponsored by the League of Women Voters in partnership with the City of New Ulm Tree Commission.
•Concert in the Park in German Park on June 19 will feature Molly & Sonny Boy. Rec on the Go activities 6-7 p.m. and Puppet Wagon show at 6:15 p.m. June 26 will feature Blue Dirt Road. The Concert Series is co-sponsored by KNUJ and made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

•Rec Center Open Swim Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 1-6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Membership, punch card or daily admission applies. Lap swim schedule can be found online
•Wading Pools at Lincoln and Washington Parks are open daily 12:30-6 p.m. Temp must be at least 72 and children must be accompanied by an 18-year old. There are no lifeguards on duty.
•North Park Splash Pad is open daily 10 a.m.-8 p.m. for the summer.
•Hermann Monument is open for the summer. $3 per person to climb the monument. Open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
•Rec Center summer hours- Open Monday through Thursday 5 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday 5 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
