NEW ULM — Bridging Brown County (BBC), a non-profit organization that strengthens Brown County by bridging relationships of understanding and communication, announces the appointment of its new Executive Director, Karen Haala of Hanska.

Haala has a passion for networking and leadership development. She is a native of Brown County and has resided and worked here most of her life. As a 2022-2023 graduate of the leadership program and now a former BBC Board of Directors representative, she sees the importance of the organization and its mission.

Haala is excited about the opportunity to lead the organization and hopes to use her communication and marketing skills to build awareness in Brown County and assist in bridging the communities of the county together.
