This year’s participants in the Network New Ulm Youth Leadership Program (NNUY) accepted a sponsorship grant from New Ulm Area Foundation (NUAF) during their March 20th session. Twenty-five students from NUHS, CHS, MVL and ALC will have met for seven sessions the past school year to increase community awareness, network with other students from other schools and foster youth leaders.

Kathy Van Roekel, President of NUAF, said their support of Network New Ulm Youth aligns well with the Foundation’s granting pillar focused on education. The Foundation’s donors understand the importance of teaching our youth the great things our community has to offer, while helping them to build leadership and teamwork skills.

NNUY applications for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year can be found on the New Ulm Chamber website or by scanning the QR code found on the Network New Ulm Youth Facebook page. Upcoming Juniors and Seniors who attend high school in New Ulm are encouraged to apply. Application deadline is May 24, 2024.
