Lifeguard Training will be offered 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. March 29-30 at the Rec Center. There are 5 to 8 hours of online course work to be completed prior to the pretest. •Indoor Playground at the Rec Center will be closed Friday, March 15 from 12-2 p.m. for inspection.

•Summer Recruitment is underway. Park and Rec. is seeking skilled laborers to mow, trim, drag/line ballfields, paint, clean and help keep our parks beautiful. The department is also seeking coordinators and aides to assist with programs and youth activities as well as monitor and oversee wading pools. Apply online at newulmmn.gov

•Civic Center ice is gone and no ice activities are scheduled. Ice will be back on April 12 for the Adult Hockey Tournament . Age specific open hockey and open figure skating in addition to the regular open sessions will be offered April through May. Punch cards and memberships available for discounted rate. Skate rentals $3.

•Pool Eggstravanganza will be held 1:30-3:30 p.m.Friday, March 29 with the Egg Hunt at 2:30 p.m. Fee is $10 per child non-member or $5/member. Adult membership or daily admission applies.

Easter Egg Hunt is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30 at Harman Park. Activities available from 10-11 a.m. and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny.

•Open Pickleball from 6-8:45 p.m. Wednesday and Friday evenings, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturdays, 9a.m.-12 p.m Sundays . 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and Monday through Friday. Outdoor courts are now open at Lincoln Park. Paddles are available to rent at the Welcome desk for $2 and includes a ball. Those who want to play pickleball outside of these hours and a gym court is open, are welcome to pull the net out and play.

Open Tennis is offered 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday mornings. The curtain will be closed and will not affect the walking track.

•Tot Swim is offered Wednesdays in the shallow pool from 9-10:30 a.m. Admission is $3

•Tot Gym is offered from 9-10:30 a.m. Mondays and Fridays. Admission is $3 and that includes admission in the playground as well!

•Spring Garage Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturday April 6. Purchase your spot at the Rec Center during building hours. One spot includes three 8-foot tables.

Summer Program Brochure will be released March 29 with registration opening April 10. All registration is done online at newulmmn.gov or in person at the Rec. Center.
