Brown County DFL Picnic to feature Attorney General Keith Ellison

NEW ULM — This year’s Brown County DFL Picnic will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hermann Heights Park in New Ulm. The featured guest will be Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison, who was elected in 2018 after serving in Congress for 12 years. The local DFL will provide the burgers and brats, and the rest of the food is potluck. The picnic takes place rain or shine and all DFLers are welcome to attend. A Mid-Summer Nights Dream

NEW ULM — The cast of “A Mid-Summer Nights Dream” invites the public to see their performances Friday July 12 at 7 p.m. and Saturday July 13t at 1 p.m. Admission is just $2. Performances will take place in the New Ulm High School Theater.

Directors Andi and Will from Prairie Fire Children’s Theater started rehearsing with them Monday and thanks to the talent and enthusiasm of the kids will be ready Friday and Saturday.
