NEW ULM — The New Ulm Area Emergency Food Shelf & Second Harvest Food Bank are offering produce, fruit, bakery items and miscellaneous items. Distribution will be Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at 1305 South Valley Street, New Ulm.

Signup begins at 10 a.m. Bring your own bags or boxes. Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the event starts as we will be unloading the truck and setting up. The goal is that no one goes hungry, so this distribution is open to anyone who needs help.

If items are available after our closing time, we may leave some under the awning for you to pick up later that day. Updates will be posted on the New Ulm Emergency Food Shelf Facebook page.

The food given during “Produce Tuesday” is brought from Second Harvest the same day. No food donated for the New Ulm Food Shelf’s normal operations is used for this surplus.
