NEW ULM — The public is invited to attend Cocktails at the Governor’s at the historic Governor John Lind House in New Ulm on Friday, May 11, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The guest of honor will be Terry Steinbach, a new Ulm native and retired catcher for the Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins.

Guests will enjoy a wide variety of appetizers, and there will be a cash bar. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce office or at Hy-Vee.

Advance sales and reservations are recommended, but a limited number of tickets will also be available at the door.

Free C­ommunity Breakfast

NEW ULM — A Free Community Breakfast will be held Saturday, April 28 at First United Methodist Church on the corner of Center and Broadway in New Ulm. Come from 8 to 10 a.m. for pancakes, eggs, sausage, and coffee. Bring family, friends and the grandkids. All are welcome!
