Sibley County District Court

• Michael Wayne Jetter, 40, Windom, pleaded guilty to felony issuance of a dishonored check May 2. He was sentenced to one year and one day imprisonment, stayed for up to 3 years unsupervised probation. Conditions are 115 days in the Sibley County Jail, paying $1,428 in restitution and remaining law abiding.

• Unconditional bail was set at $50,000 cash or bond, or no bail with conditions May 2 for Michael Roy Brown, 46, Gibbon. Charges alleged second-degree assault and threats of violence. He could be released without bail on conditions of having no direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim or his family. An omnibus hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. June 27.

• Samantha Jo Lynch, 33, Winthrop was ordered held without bail May 2 for a probation violation of felony check forgery. A hearing was set for 10:30 a.m. May 9.

• Scott Harris Tesch, 49 Winthrop was charged with gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI and misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI April 29. Unconditional bail was set at $12,000 bash or bond. He could be released without bail on conditions he not use or possess alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances and be subject to electronic home monitoring. A hearing was set for 9 a.m. May 9.
