Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a report at 9:54 p.m. Thursday of a suspicious man walking around town, wearing blue jeans and a hoodie near 1st St. South and Knudsen Street in Evan. The man fled when deputies got close. A report was done for documentation.

New Ulm Police

• Responded to a report from the Walmart asset protection employee at Walmart at 7:41 p.m. Thursday. A 65-year-old Madelia woman involved in a felony theft case returned to the store, was confronted by the asset protection employee and fled. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
