REDWOOD COUNTY — The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle that crashed into the Minnesota River at 11 a.m. Jan. 19.

A deceased male was found inside the vehicle, according to a Redwood County Sheriff’s Office news release. Assisting agencies were the Belview Fire Department, Belview First Responders, Centra Care Ambulance, Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Renville County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident remains under investigation. No more information was available.
