NEW ULM — In the final month of this year’s Music in the Park series, “The Ken and Ken Show” took the stage on Monday evening.

“The Ken and Ken Show” are no strangers to the music in the park series, as this was their 16th performance in the park. The group has been together for 17 years.

Kicking off the concert, the duo mentioned the “Barbie” movie’s popularity, with Ken Kamolz dressing up as Barbie, making the duo Barbie and Ken. Along with the barbie costume, there were a couple of other costume changes to match the songs they were playing.

While playing “Down to the Honkytonk” by “Jake Owens,” Ken Griebel wore a cowboy hat and some New Ulm bars names were exchanged for other lyrics in the song.

During back to back “Beatles” songs “8 Days a Week” and “We can Work it Out,” Griebel switched things up and donned a B eatles wig.

“The Ken and Ken Show” will be performing on Thursday at the “Brown County Fair” for the senior day program at 10:30 a.m.

Next Monday’s Music in the Park event will host the “The Misfits at 7:00 p.m.
