Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a suspicious activity report at 380th Avenue and 140th Street, Bashaw Township at 7:40 a.m. July 7. A 34-year-old Springfield man was found slumped over in a vehicle. An ambulance was called. The man was transported to the Brown County Jail on hold for a 5th-degree controlled substance charge. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police

• Received a theft report of plumbing tools and supplies sometime in the last two weeks at Inspired Wedding Events at 3:01 p.m. July 6. Value of the stolen items was estimated at $5,000. A report was done for documentation.

• An 18-year-old New Ulm female reported a scam/fraud after sending $900 through an online cash app for an apartment listed on Craig’s List. A report was sent to investigators.

• Responded to a domestic call on the 1100 block of 1st St. North at 12:20 a.m. July 7. An intoxicated 40-year-old New Ulm woman was left at the residence in the care of her father. A report was done for documentation.
