NEW ULM — On the recommendation of the Priest Personnel Board, Bishop Chad W. Zielinski of the Catholic Diocese of New Ulm made the following priest assignments effective June 27.

• Rev. Jeremy Kucera to serve as pastor of the Vine and Branches AFC (St. Raphael, Springfield; St. Joseph, Lamberton; and St. Thomas (oratory), Sanborn.

• Rev. Brendan rolling to serve as parochial administrator of All Saints AFC (St. Andrew, Fairfax; St. Willibrord, Gibbon; St. Francis de Sales, Winthrop). In addition, he is assigned to serve as director of vocations.

• Rev. Tanner Thooft to serve as associate director of vocations in addition to serving as parochial vicar at the Divine Mercy AFC (St. Paul, Comfrey; St. Michael, Morgan; Japanese Martyrs, Leavenworth; and St. Mary, Sleepy Eye).

• Rev. Phil Shotzko to reitre as mission office director.

• Rev. Jerry Meidl appointed mission office director and continue to assist in the Holy Cross AFC (Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, New Ulm; St. Mary, New Ulm; St. John the Baptist, Searles; and St. George, West Newton Township).
