NEW ULM — State Street Theater Co., New Ulm, is holding auditions for a comedian on Sunday, March 12 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring their funniest 5 to 7 minute comedy act. The winner will have an opportunity to open for Tommy Ryman, NBC’s Last Comic Standing semi-finalist.

Ryman is performing at State Street Theater on Saturday, March 25. In addition to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to open for a nationally acclaimed comedian, the winner gets 10 tickets to the March 25 show to bring his/her own cheering section.

No reservations are needed for the auditions; they are not open to the public. Just come to the theater’s stage door, #7, back parking lot. (Take a right on Center and Washington Streets, and another right into the parking lot.) on Sunday, March 12, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m..
