NEW ULM — Pro Musica Minnesota will celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year on Sunday, Jan. 29, with a 3 p.m. concert in the Chapel of the Christ at Martin Luther College.

The concert will feature a selection of Chinese music: The Butterfly Lovers Concerto; Quiet Forest, Flowing Stream by Gao Hong: Liuyang River arr. by Lang Lang, and The Triple Resurrection by Tan Dun. Performers includ Riu Du of violin, Richard Belcher on cello, Bethel Balge on piano, Gao Hong playing the pi pa, Zheng Gang Xie on the jing hu, and Mei Hu on the yue qin.
