NUACS holds Red Cross blood drive

New Ulm Area Catholic Schools would like to say thank you to the community for supporting the Cathedral High School NHS annual Red Cross blood drive.

On Monday, Nov. 21, NUACS hosted its annual blood drive. They had 94 donors scheduled to donate, of which only 9 were deferred. Surpassing their goal of 80 units, they donated 85 units.

This will help save 255 lives. Of their 85 donors, 25 were first time donors. They hope this sparks new inspiration to continue to save lives.

Once a unit of blood is used to help someone, the donor will receive a notification that tells him/her about the person whose life was saved thanks to their donation at our Blood Drive. Thank you New Ulm!
