All students, staff, visitors through Feb. 1

SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye Public Schools imposed a temporary mask mandate for all K-12 students, staff and all visitors for two weeks, effective Monday, Jan. 17 through Tuesday, Feb. 1.

“I have consulted with the Sleepy Eye Public School Board about our recent spike of COVID cases in our school building. The school district is imposing a temporary mask mandate. This information will be send to all households, posted on Facebook, (school) website and ClassDojo,” read a Jan. 13 email from Sleepy Eye Supt. John Cselovszki.

ClassDojo is a communication app for teachers, parents and students.

Cselovszki said he will report school COVID-19 numbers at the Wednesday, Jan. 19 school board meeting.
